Master Shaohe Chi

Master Shaohe Chi is a fifth-generation inheritor of the Yang-style Tai Chi lineage and an internationally respected Tai Chi and Qigong master, renowned for his unique integration of traditional martial arts, classical Chinese medicine, and modern integrative health principles.

Born into a family deeply rooted in Chinese martial culture, Master Chi spent over 26 years studying under Grandmaster Yang Zhenji, the son of the legendary Yang Chengfu — one of the most influential figures in modern Tai Chi history. Through decades of dedicated practice and research, Master Chi has mastered Yang Chengfu-style Tai Chi, Qigong, internal martial arts, and the “preventive medicine” approach to health maintenance and rehabilitation, which he now shares with students and practitioners worldwide.

In addition to his martial expertise, Master Chi is a highly skilled traditional Qigong and Chinese medicine specialist. He is widely recognized for his pioneering application of Qigong in preventive healthcare, rehabilitation, and vitality cultivation. His teachings emphasize how internal energy practice can enhance microcirculation, regulate organ function, support the body’s self-healing capacity, and delay the aging process.

Master Chi has trained multiple all-around champions and has organized numerous international Tai Chi cultural and life science forums. He continues to mentor a new generation of practitioners and teachers, ensuring the living transmission and evolution of Tai Chi and Qigong.

His teaching philosophy embodies the essence of Tai Chi:

“From stillness comes power; from softness, true strength.”
